Roker Picks Sisters Grimm

On The Today Show this morning, Al Roker chose the Sisters Grimm series by Michael Buckley as the seventh pick in his Al’s Book Club. The series is published by Abrams/Amulet. The first book, The Fairy-Tale Detectives, which came out in fall 2005, was chosen to represent the series. The fifth Sisters Grimm title, Magic and Misdemeanors, pubbed in October, and Tales from the Hood is due next May. In the books, two sisters learn that they are descended from the Brothers Grimm and from a long line of fairy-tale detectives, and that the famous Grimm tales are actually a collection of case files. Buckley will appear on The Today Show early in 2008 to talk about his books.
