New Weinstein/Weisbach Hire

Thank heavens for Rob Weisbach. The new Weinstein Bros chief has nearly single-handedlykept the staffing news buzzing this summer.

Yesterday he announced an associate director of publicity, S&S's Katie Finch. For people still wondering about acquisitions and the character of the list, again we can only turn to theannouncement for clues. It notes Finch's work at S&S: The Starter Wife by Gigi Levangie Grazer and The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp, and two books about fatherhood: Boys Will Put You on a Pedestal by Philip Van Munching and Season of Life by Jeffrey Marx. A bit of a complement to the background of one of its more recent hires, Grove Atlantic's Judy Hottensen. (The house also notes work with Susan Cheever and Andy Borowitz, among others.)
